Jennifer Brady
Senior Data Analyst and Research Manager
As senior data analyst and research manager, Jennifer Brady leads Climate Central's data-driven investigations into climate trends and impacts. Her work with the Climate Matters program includes studies of climate change-related disasters, major power outages, and urban heat island effects across the U.S. She has worked extensively with journalists around the country to explain Climate Central's analyses of the connections between weather and climate change and their impacts on local communities, appearing frequently as a guest on national TV and radio programs.
Before coming to Climate Central, Brady worked at the U.S. EPA evaluating the climate change impacts of waste and contaminated land management. For her work on climate change adaptation, Brady earned a Gold Medal for Exceptional Service. She has spoken extensively as an invited speaker discussing the link between materials management and climate change emissions.
Brady earned an M.A. in public policy from Georgetown University and a B.S. in political science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
